Profile: Our client sells business services to physicians. The business services we sell are a full turn-key solution to allows physicians to practice medicine in peace. The Business development rep that we seek has already sold a big-ticket item to physicians and is sued to strategic sales cycle that lasts up to 1 year. The person we seek creates and keeps relationships long-term, is familiar with healthcare challenges and possesses great listening skills. You know the language and challenges of the health sector and bring credibility to the role.

Territory: Greater Montreal area

Workplace: Hybrid

Products/Services: Business services to physicians

Salary: Base of $90,000-$105,000

Commissions/Bonus: $40,000-$45,000 paid annually

Car allowance: km reimbursement

Expense’s reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursed

Functions:

  • Build relationships with physicians in territory
  • Uncover challenges and problem areas
  • Present our unique business services
  • Determine scope of business services needed by physician and physician group
  • Lead workshop with physician(s)
  • Present unique proposal
  • Prepare letter of intent with internal partners
  • Support the roll-out of project
  • Support the launch team

Job Requirements:

Development vs Maintenance:100% vs 0%

Road vs Office: 50% vs 50%

Languages: French and English

Education: Bachelor's degree preferred

Training: On the job training provided

Overnight Travel: Very little overnight required

Years of experience: 5-7 years b2b sales experience

Other requirements:  

  • Ability to build long-term relationships with medical professionals
  • Credible
  • Excellent planning and organization
  • Experience selling longer sales cycles (up to 1 year)

Transferable contacts: Contacts with medical clinics in Quebec

Transferable Knowledge:

  • Knowledge of Quebec healthcare system, especially GMFs (family medicine groups)
  • Medical or paramedical degree a plus
  • Knowledge of Hubspot a plus
