Profile: Our client is the maker of a Saas software solution sold to companies looking to maximize and manage their field resources. The Business development Manager that we seek will operate in North American market (Canada/US) but be located in Montreal ,Toronto or Ottawa. You have experience selling to Operations and “C” level. We are looking for a tech-savvy business development professional who is comfortable doing demos, presenting online as well as face to face and has experience and knowledge of selling software as a solution.

Territory: North America (Canada and US)

Work Place: Montreal + 3 days work from home

Products/Services: SaaS software for service companies

Salary: Base $70,000-$90,000

Commissions/Bonus: + $80,000 commissions

Car allowance: km reimbursed

Expenses reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursed

  • Develop a strong pipeline of prospects
  • Qualify prospects
  • Develop your sales process with each client
  • Develop strong relationships with prospects/clients
  • Meet or exceed sales and activity objectives set for you
  • Identify key accounts
  • Diversify prospects with both short and long sales cycle clients
  • Respond to inbound leads in a timely manner
  • Implicate company engineers when needed
  • Provide timely and accurate forecasting
  • Input opportunities and update them in CRM
  • Provide web demos  

Job Requirements:


Development vs Maintenance: 100% vs 0%

Road vs Office: 20% vs 80%

Languages: Excellent spoken and written English

Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred

Training: On the job training provided

Overnight Travel: Up to 30% overnight travel,

Years’ of experience: 3 to 6 years pertinent experience required

Other requirements: you must be tech savvy, comfortable with doing product demos and able to qualify complex sales processes

  • You have experience selling to Ontario and Rest of Canada

Transferable contacts: N/A

Transferable Knowledge: Knowledge of selling software as a service with cloud selling services necessary
