Job Description:

Profile: Our client is the partner of several companies in several countries, and works in the field of file outsourcing, data management, artificial intelligence and cloud services. The Business Development Executive (BDE) will need to prospect through a network of new clients and some existings in order to generate new revenue.

Territory: Western Canada but mostly the Greater Vancouver area and a bit of Calgary

Work Place: Work from home and may ask for a presence at the office 1 x week

Products/Services: Data protection

Salary: $80,000 to $88,000

Commissions/Bonus: $5,500 per month @ 100% of your objectives - no cap on commissions ($66,000/year)

Car allowance: based on matrix

-Assesses prospective and assigned customer's current and potential needs, determining appropriate company products and solutions  

-Develop and lead the sales strategy for major opportunities in the territory; involve internal resources as needed  

-Maximize prospecting in order to develop new customers, including the initiation of new 'leads' to contact on a weekly basis and ensure follow-up

-Develop and implement strategies and business plans by making sure to understand the customer's service offer and how it differentiates itself in the market

-Ability to properly present the product offers and / or the complete solution of the company, in order to highlight strengths, competitive pricing, customer satisfaction as well as fully understand competitive advantages

-Build customer relationships through strategic conversations to understand organizational business objectives and goals

-Ensures frequent communication to enable superior customer satisfaction and to keep customer educated on emerging industry trends related to customer's organizational information agreement needs

-Responsible for identifying opportunities and increasing the sales process by assisting in the evaluation of special projects

-Maintain a consistent pipeline that enables meeting and exceeding quota attainment.

Job Requirements:

Development vs Maintenance: 70% vs 30%

Road vs Office: 70% vs 30%  

Languages: English  

Education: Bachelors degree a must

Training: on site and continuous training provided  

Overnight Travel: very little overnight travel required

Years’ of experience: minimum 5 years of experience in sales of services

Other requirements:

-strong background and knowledge of strategic account management, sales process and solution selling

-quota driven

-ability to present to senior level management  

- account relationship management and  effective questioning techniques  

Transferable Knowledge:

-Knowledge of CRM, like Salesforce or other

-Consistent over-plan performers (possessing the documentation to support this)
