Profile: Our client is looking for someone in business development for a newly-created position that is in growth mode. The client, in logistics and courier sales, is looking for an experienced rep who will work on upselling to our client base and net new clients.

Territory: Quebec and some rest of Canada

Workplace: Hybrid with 1x per week presence at office

Products/Services: logistics and courier

Salary: Base $75,000

Commissions/Bonus: +$75,000 at 100% of objectives

Car allowance: $/km

Expense’s reimbursement: All travel and reasonable expenses reimbursed

  • Reach out to existing clients to introduce and sell new service
  • Identify and reach out to prospects
  • Perform a needs analysis with both existing and new clients
  • Present custom solution
  • Negotiate contract terms
  • Establish sales objectives and KPIs with manager
  • Ensure you provide excellent customer service

Job Requirements:

Development vs Maintenance: 60% new clients and 40% selling into existing base

Road vs Office: 60% vs 40%

Languages: French and English

Education: College degree preferred

Training: On the job training but must have experience in the industry

Overnight Travel: Very little overnight travel

Years of experience: 3-5 years in a relevant role

Other requirements:

  • Industry experience is a must

Transferable contacts: Has sold to logistics managers in the past

Transferable Knowledge:
