Profile: Our client is a SaaS solutions company looking for a Vice President of Sales and Marketing to be based in greater Montreal. You will be responsible for the direction, growth and marketing for the company. You will be a member of the executive team, will work with product development to exchange and be an integral member of the team. The person we seek, has participated in a growth environment, has built teams, has a solid track record and has developed people.

Territory: Global

Workplace: Work from home (local to Montreal)

Salary: Base $175,000-$200,000

Commissions/Bonus:

Car allowance: Km reimbursement

Expense’s reimbursement: All travel expenses reimbursed

Functions:

  • assess our sales process
  • tweak and/or implement sales process
  • assess and coach our sales team members
  • coach people to their strengths
  • work with internal departments to align with sales and their department
  • collaborate with marketing department for alignment, demand generation and growth initiatives
  • manage the sales and marketing budget with CFO
  • develop the annual sales plan
  • hire and onboard members of your team ,with HR director
  • set employee objectives and perform annual reviews
  • provide reports and dashboards to executive team

Job Requirements:

Development vs Maintenance: 50% vs 50%

Road vs Office: 20% vs 80%

Languages: Excellent written and spoken English, French is an asset

Education: Bachelor's degree required

Training: On the job training provided

Overnight Travel: Up to 20% overnight travel required

Years of experience: At least 5 years experience leading a B2B SaaS team (s)

Other requirements:

  • Solutions oriented
  • Experience with growing teams within growing businesses, an asset
  • Experience with SaaS software or IT solutions
