Job Description:

Profile: Our client is a distributor of industrial products and is looking for a customer service rep who will work with both the outside sales rep and client base to provide excellent customer service. Your role will include making product suggestions, order entry, post-sales support and working with internal departments. You will cover the territory in Quebec and will be joining a company with an excellent reputation with both clients and employees.

Territory: Province of Quebec

Workplace: Hybrid- 1 day at office (Laval) and 4 days at home

Products/Services: Pumps, filtration, valves. fluid handling etc  

Salary: Base $60,000-$70,000 depending on experience

Commissions/Bonus: 7% of base, paid annually

Car allowance: N/A

Functions:

  • Support outside sales with requests
  • Follow up on orders
  • Order entry
  • Provide after-sales support such as following up on orders and reporting back
  • Set up meetings with sales and customers
  • Receive calls from clients  
  • Make calls to clients to provide answers
  • Make suggestions on products
  • Upsell and cross sell when necessary

Job Requirements:

Development vs Maintenance: 10% vs 90%

Road vs Office: 0% vs 100% (home office and Laval office)

Languages: French and English

Education: College degree or equivalent experience

Training: Full training available

Overnight Travel: No overnight travel required

Years of experience: A minimum of 1 year in the industry is required
