Sirius Personnel is a Placement and Headhunting Agency that Specializes in Sales and Marketing Professionals in Montreal. (

Profile: Our client is in the transport industry and has been providing industry-leading transportation services for more than 50 years. We are  looking a for Business Development Manager that will use their hunting skills to grow and maintain a book of business. Please submit your resume in English.

Territory: Quebec

Workplace: Home office. Must be located in the greater Montreal area

Products/Services: Transport services

Salary: $70,000-$90,000

Commissions/Bonus: $30,000 on target commission 1st year. Uncapped.

Car allowance: $600 / month + gas allowance

Expense’s reimbursement: All authorized work related expenses are reimbursed.

  • Identify and acquire new business
  • Meet with decision makers
  • Communicate our technology solutions.
  • Identify new revenue streams
  • Generate sales leads by networking and cold calling prospects.
  • Prepare and present proposals
  • Negotiate mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Enter your activities in Salesforce CRM
  • Utilize supplied sales tools such as Zoom Info, Lead Forensic and other tools to prospect.
  • Performs other duties as required.

Job Requirements:

Development vs Maintenance: 90% vs 10%

Road vs Office: 50% vs 50%

Languages: French and English needed (written and spoken)

Education: College degree or equivalent experience

Training: On the job training provided

Overnight Travel: Minimal overnight travel required

Years of experience: 1 year minimum in a sales role in the transport industry
