Sirius Personnel is a Placement and Headhunting Agency that Specializes in Sales and Marketing Professionals in Montreal. (

Profile: Our client sells tailor-made marketing programs used by banks, insurance companies, retailers, and others to build customer loyalty. We are looking for a Key Account Manager strong in the managing of the day to day of accounts, especially in the service industry. These are some large accounts where you will be tasked with taking care of their issues, be the point of influence and scouting for new opportunities within these accounts.

Territory: Province of Quebec and some Ontario

Workplace: Hybrid-2 days per week at Montreal office

Products/Services: Marketing programs

Salary: Base $65,000-$67,500

Commissions/Bonus: 10% to 15% bonus

Car allowance: $/km

  • Help define the account strategy
  • Handle all customer issues and complaints and escalate where necessary
  • Help identify risks within the account
  • Partner with internal departments such as operations and quality assurance to ensure service levels are respected
  • Be responsible for program performance management
  • Lead business development within your accounts by uncovering unmet needs
  • Make presentations as needed
  • Create monthly reports on the different services for each client
  • Manage projects, as needed
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients
  • Retain customer base through various strategies

Job Requirements:


Development vs Maintenance: 25% vs 75%

Road vs Office: 20% vs 80%

Languages: French and English (bilingualism required)

Education: College degree or equivalent experience

Training: On the job training provided

Overnight Travel: Less than 10% overnight travel required

Years of experience: 4 years experience in a relevant sales/account management role required

Other requirements:  

  • Strong project management skills would be an asset
  • Great relationship building skills
