Job Description:

Profile: Our client is an import/export company looking for a sales person who will learn and master the business of freight forwarding and supply chain management. You will assigned a territory and book of business, where 50% of the clients are existing with opportunities to upsell and the other 50% is to go out and build a pipeline of sales opportunities. You are comfortable with KPIs, 1 on 1's and a strong sales environment.

Territory: South shore

Work Place: Ville St Laurent

Products/Services: Transport services

Salary: $55,000-$75,000

Commissions/Bonus: $25,000 in commissions at 100% of objectives

Car allowance: $750/month + $350/month gas card

Expenses reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursed

  • Meet company activity KPIs assigned to you
  • Set up a call schedule for your assigned clients and prospects
  • Diligently call on your clients
  • Manage appointments and activities through the use of our CRM
  • Develop and maintain your sales pipeline
  • Meet your Sales Director on a weekly basis in an effort to advance your opportunities
  • Make presentations
  • Develop a sales plan for your territory
  • Maintain strong relationships with your clients and prospects
  • Meet and exceed sales targets  

Job Requirements:


Development vs Maintenance: 50% vs 50%

Road vs Office: 80% vs 20%

Languages: French and English

Education: Bachelor's degree preferred but experience will be considered

Training: 1 week in Toronto and 2 weeks in Montreal

Overnight Travel: Very little overnight travel required

Years’ of experience: 2 years experience in the transport or logistic  are required
