Profile: Our client offers translation and localization services to companies in the medical, pharmaceutical, marketing, tourism, legal, food and other industries. They are expanding and they are looking for a business development representative  to join their  team. We want to hire a person who is perfectly bilingual with a dynamic and adaptable attitude.

Territory: Montreal

Work Place: Montreal

Products/Services: Translation and localization services  

Salary: $45 000-$50 000

Commissions/Bonus: $15 000 Uncapped commissions

Car allowance: $/km

Expenses reimbursement: All reasonable expenses will be reimbursed by the employer

Develop and consolidate existing customer base using techniques such as mass cold calls, social media optimization, email follow-ups and more

Develop new markets and new accounts over the phone and face to face

Answers quotation requests via their web platform

Create their own contacts while boosting the contact base provided by the employer, as well as qualifying prospects

Provide follow-up by phone / e-mail and in person regarding quotes

Participation in networking events, conferences and trade shows to promote the company's services

Job Requirements:


Development vs Maintenance: 80% VS 20%

Road vs Office: 20% VS 80%

Languages: French and English (written and spoken)

Education: A bachelor's degree will be highly considered

Training: Full training will be provided by the employer

Overnight Travel: N/A

Years of experience:  2 years  selling business services

Other requirements:

Must be flexible and adaptable to change

Must be focused on customer service

Knowledge of technologies and Office Suite

Must be self-motivated and comfortable working with little supervision

Transferable contacts: Contacts within the industry will be highly considered

Transferable Knowledge: The candidate must have sold corporate services and has experience with prospecting
