Our client distributes transport equipment in the US and is looking for a Channel Manager to manage a group of dealers. Your role will be to support them via training, selling, responding to RFPs and new product introduction. You are excellent at sales planning and organization, training and communication, including technical background with a hunter profile.Functions:
Focus on strategic plan and organize sales activities in accordance to budget and opportunities -Training of Dealer Regional Sales Team
Sales organization; sales activities at contractor level with dealers, trade shows, product presentations, sales meetings, plant tour, promotional orientation, -Capacity to introduce a superior product within an established dealer network in USA
Actively participate into the marketing aspect of the function, in particular for the value added messages and product introduction -Capacity to train, influence and make recommendation (product, special option, information system)
Use available information from dashboard or from outside sources and to make decisions in order to recommend winning strategies -Follow-up and regularly produce activity reports
Job Requirements:
Academic | Bachelor's Degree (non-negotiable) |
Languages | Excellent written and spoken English for an American territory |
Experience | A minimum of 5 to 8 years b2b sales experience required (US sales experience would be an asset) |
Self-starter -Good business analytical skills -Strong presentation skills -Ability to have financial conversations with owner/operators ie Cost of ownership, Cycle cost analysis with capacity to prepare value added presentation at different levels of authority -Excellent knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point |
