Company Profile:

Our client is a manufacturer of capital equipment sold to the food industry; particularly to bakeries. We are looking for a sales rep who has sold capital equipment and is local to Montreal. You will be in charge of Quebec and the Maritimes as a territory and be responsible for finding new food manufacturers. You will work in conjunction with your clients and our technical resource to develop your opportunities. You have experience selling value and can articulate that.


Introduce company specific equipment solutions to potential new customers -Participate in all phases of the sales cycle including equipment installation, testing and commissioning.
Develop an effective travel schedule to cover all of the sales territory -Prepare sales presentations, written reports and cover letters for quotations, test and purchase agreements.
Maintain existing Bakery Customer relationships through regular site visits and meetings with senior plant management and decision making stakeholders. -Keep informed on competition, competitive issues and markets.
Attend and participate in sales meetings, company training seminars, industry association meetings and trade shows. -Regularly update the CRM, customer files and information and reporting on territory activity.

Job Requirements:

Academic A post Secondary Degree / Certificate in business, engineering or food science will be most interesting.
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience Minimum of 5 years experience in capital equipment sales
  Proven track record in achieving budgeted sales targets -You are adaptable - You have a strong desire to commit to a career in our company -A highly organized and disciplined individual that has experience working from the home office
