Our client is a growing ingredients manufacturer and has added a new position for a technical sales rep who will target food processors in an effort to get our ingredients specified for their products. This position serves all of Canada from the Montreal office. In some provinces you will be working with food brokers and in others you will be selling directly to the customer. They have an environment of pay for performance and are extremely customer focused.Functions:
Contact and visit new and existing food processor customers to discuss their needs, to determine product requirements, and to explain how these needs could be met by specific products and services.
Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.

Emphasize product features based on analyses of customers' needs
Negotiate prices and terms with customers of sales and service agreements

Secure and renew orders and arrange delivery if required.
Identify prospective customers by using business directories, following leads from existing clients, participating in organizations and clubs, and attending trade shows and conferences.

Job Requirements:
| Academic | *Bachelors degree in food science or nutrition or equivalent education/experience |
| Languages | Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken) |
| Experience | A minimum of 3 to 5 years of work-related skill, knowledge, or experience is needed for this position. Experience in food processing technology or nutrition and sales is required. |
