Company Profile:

Our client is a distributor of industrial equipment and services, and is looking for a store manager for their Ste-Foy (Quebec) store. You will be in charge of the store, sales, budget, answering to walk in, customers's request by phone and will have 1 person reporting to you.

Functions:

Supervise and coordinate daily activities and working methods to ensure customer satisfaction and profitability of the branch
Ensure the application of the rules, regulations and company policies
Develops and maintains sales materials and current product knowledge.
Ensure good communication between the branch and the management / procurement to optimize procurement and maximize sales
Provide excellent customer service: welcome, serve and advise clients in an honest, courteous and professional
Attends and participates in regularly scheduled product training meetings.
Communicate to the Inside Sales person all information relevant to a specific customer
Resolve potential conflicts with customers

Job Requirements:

Academic Post secondary studies in a technical field or equivalent experience
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience 3-5 years in an industrial envrionment either as a mechanic, internal sales, customer service or technical sales
  Must love technical, most request will be technical ones
Not afraid to get your hands dirty
Very sociable
Knowledge of advertising and sales promotion techniques.
