Our client is a national telecommunications provider and is looking for an acquisition rep to bring in profitable revenue to achieve margin and revenue targets across key lines of business.


Leverage personal pre-existing relationships as well as creatively and quickly create new relationships at key influencer / decision making / executive levels within target accounts to generate and then rapidly accelerate qualified opportunities to close
Cross sell accounts subsequent to initial opportunity close to maximize overall revenue capture
Develop sales strategies and coordinate customer engagements that leverage knowledge and prospect facing abilities of the best available internal resources to ensure opportunity closure is secured and within company capability to deliver
Meet and exceed personal quotas
Keep funnel healthy and up to date

Job Requirements:

Academic *Post-secondary or University degree required
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience Minimum 2 years success within a technical sales field, as an Acquisition Sales Person, with a proven track record of successful selling at the “C” Level within a team environment. Preference given to those that have experience with at least one of the following telecommunication areas: voice networks, data networks, internet, ip telephony hardware
  Demonstrated past success achieved by being a team player and team builder
Shows highly developed executive selling ability demonstrated by past results as well as customer relations, negotiating & decision making skills
Has a strong technical knowledge of telecommunications solutions or has the proven ability to work with internal resources that can enhance strong business sales ability at an executive / decision making level
Shows high levels of motivation and professionalism, energy, ethics & consistently demonstrates excellent business judgment and the desire to win
Competent at establishing productive relationships at all levels of a customer organization and internally both personally and through encouraging team members to do so
Able to use software packages such as MS Mail, PowerPoint, Excel, Word & Microsoft CRM to enhance personal productivity
