Our client is a well established player in the payment processing business and is search of a subject matter expert in different vertical markets. This is a new position for the company.Functions:
Provide sales strategy in vertical market
Manage business development initiatives: sign key partnerships, work Associations and trade shows
Dislodge the competition

Sell company's services directly to merchants and meet personal quota
Manage a small group of sales reps (2-3) in vertical to its quota

Attend trade shows and associations' speaking engagements

Territory: US, Canada (UK possibility)

Job Requirements:
Academic | *University degree or equivalent experience |
Languages | Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken) |
Experience | Minimum of 5 years of sales at C level |
The company has plans to expand into Europe in 2010 and the sales manager's territory will be expanded at that time. Must be able to work, if not thrive in, a fast paced environment |
