Company Profile:

Our client sells both products and services to big business related to the field of the transport, handling and disposal of hazardous materials. They are in need of a Business Development Manager to handle Quebec, the Maritimes and Ottawa.


Proactively contact company's current, past and potential customers with the aim of maximizing our sales potential.
Provide quotations and follow up on requests for orders and request for quotations
Develop positive relationships with new and existing customers and project a professional, enthusiastic and friendly manner when dealing with customers and staff.
Communicate with clients on a regular basis and ensure all existing customer contracts are renewed on time.
Develop a new client base through active prospecting and cold calling.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients
Report all findings in CRM including potential sales, complaints & problems, new product ideas, competitive information, areas for compny to grow and expand
Assist in the development of the sales skills of other staff in the office to enable them to make the most of the promotions.
To attend local trade shows and conferences as assigned
To notify management of tradeshows and conferences that could be of interest to company.
Provide weekly report from CRM to Branch Manager and General Manager by the end of the day each Friday.
Develop and maintain a good understanding of company's product line
Suggest new and better ways to improve systems, procedures, and customer relations.
Actively participate in staff meetings, attend other meetings and seminars

Job Requirements:

Academic *College degree or equivalent needed
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken)
Experience Minimum 3 years selling similar products and services
  Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Windows, Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook, and a CRM program used for the tracking of sales prospects
Strong desire to find and develop new business required.
Strong sales skills with the ability to effectively present proposals and deliver presentations.
Excellent relationship development skills.
Resourceful and self motivated to reach and exceed monthly sales quota
Ability to add value by recognizing, understanding and working in the best interest of the clients
Attention to detail, follow through and ability to multitask.
Excellent organizational and project management skills
