Company Profile:

Our customer is a 40 year old manufacturer of industrial products distributed in North America. They are looking for a talented and ambitious individual who would like to become a part of a well-established and innovative organization. They are currently seeking a technical sales representative who will be responsible for all activities related to sales, project co-ordination, distribution and market development of all the product line of the company in the assigned territory.

Functions:

Product and specification promotion to consulting engineers, municipal engineers and end users Material sales to distributors
Manage and grow business in assigned territory
Maintains contact with current customers to retain existing business
Keep up to date on customer requirements
Seek new business opportunities with current and prospective customers, promoting specific product line

Job Requirements:

Academic Post secondary degree, preferably in an engineering discipline (Civil engineering degree preferable) or equivalent work experience is required
Languages Bilingualism, both French & English (written & spoken) * Must have strong verbal and writtten communication skills
Experience 5 to 7 years technical sales experience required (candidates with prior plastic experience will be given preference)
Previous experience in underground pipping industry or construction material supply industry preferred
  Strong interpersonnal, communication and analytical skills
Able to develop strong and effective working relationships at all levels of the organization
Self motivated, self directed, self managed
