Profile: Our client provides managed services and industrial hardware solutions, including barcoding, AIDC, and OCR. They are hiring an Account Executive in Montréal to cover Québec, with a focus on new business development. The ideal candidate is a hunter with experience selling hardware and related services in enterprise or industrial markets.

Workplace: Remote work – candidate must reside in the Montréal area
Products/Services: Managed Endpoint Services
Salary: Base $100,000
Commissions/Bonus: Estimated first-year commission: approximately $200,000
Car allowance: Reimbursement for kilometers traveled
Expense’s reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursed

Functions:
  • Building and developing new business opportunities through outreach, relationship management, and solution-based selling.
  • Leading client meetings and sales presentations to promote company solutions and drive engagement.
  • Communicating the business value of technical solutions to stakeholders at all levels, including senior executives.
  • Staying informed about the latest product and service offerings from internal teams and external technology partners.
  • Representing the company at relevant industry events, trade shows, and professional associations.
  • Preparing customised proposals and sales documentation aligned with client needs.
  • Ensuring accurate tracking of sales activities, pipeline, and client data within the company CRM.
  • Performing additional tasks as required by management in support of team goals.
Requirements:
Development vs Maintenance: 90% vs 10%
Road vs Office: 60% vs 40%
Languages: French and English
Education: Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Training: On the job training 
Overnight Travel: 20% overnight travel 
Years of experience: At least 2 years of technology pre-sales experience, with a strong history of building enduring client relationships and successfully acquiring new IT accounts.

Transferable Knowledge
  • Solid knowledge of endpoint managed services and their role in enhancing the management and security of connected devices.
  • Familiarity with retail operations including front-of-store systems, POS/payments technology, and customer-facing retail solutions.
  • Awareness of supply chain logistics principles and their impact on technology deployment.
  • Understanding of mobile computing technologies such as barcode scanning and RFID systems.
  • Basic grasp of IT infrastructure and hardware components.
