Profile: Our client is an important distributor of fruits and vegetables looking for a business development rep with recent industry experience to find and develop new clients in and around Quebec. This bilingual person will be responsible for finding new clients, developing them and taking care and growing them. You are someone who cares about margins and will be working on bringing in several small and mid-market accounts. These accounts include mid-market retailers, foodservices and some big box stores. This role is for someone who will be doing 100% business development. Industry experience is a MUST.
Territory: Quebec, Ontario and some Atlantic Canada

Salary: Base $100,000-$120,000
Commissions/Bonus: Commissions of $80,000-$100,000 annually (paid monthly)

Transferable contacts: Contacts within the fruit and vegetable industry as well as knowledge and experience selling to our types of customers
Transferable Knowledge: Knows the fruit and vegetable ecosystem

Functions:
- Identify prospects based on your previous experience and knowledge
- Expand customer base by finding and developing clients within the retail space, foodservices and some big box stores
- Build and maintain relationships with prospects and customers
- Make sales presentations
- Negotiate pricing terms and transport
- Coordinate with buyers
- Monitor market trends and competitive activities
- Ensure healthy return on investment
- Update sales activity in company CRM
