Profile: Our client is  manufacturer of small industrial/construction equipment and is looking for a Business Solutions Specialist. This role focuses on expanding market share within contractor groups, municipalities, and other commercial users. This is a high-visibility, revenue-generating role with strong collaboration across the dealer network and internal sales teams.

Workplace: Home office either based in Montreal or Quebec city
Products/Services: Small industrial/construction equipment
Salary: Base $60,000-$80,000
Commissions/Bonus: $12,500 annual bonus
Car allowance: A vehicle and credit card for fuel purchases 
Expense’s reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursed

Functions:
  • Generate demand with professional end users and coordinate sales through the authorized dealer network
  • Identify, develop, and close new commercial opportunities
  • Build relationships with contractors, municipalities, and government agencies
  • Conduct job-site visits, product demonstrations, safety training, and application support
  • Support dealers with commercial opportunities and field engagement
  • Develop opportunities in industrial supply houses, hardware stores, and non-traditional retail channels
  • Deliver product and systems training to channel partners
  • Attend regional trade shows and industry events
  • Monitor relevant tenders and collaborate with dealers on participation


  
Requirements:
Development vs Maintenance: 50% vs 50%
Road vs Office: 60% vs 40%
Languages: French and English
Education: Post Secondary Education
Training: On the job training provided
Overnight Travel: 90-100 days of overnight per year
Years of experience: 3+ years of B2B sales experience (industrial, construction, equipment, or related field preferred)
Other requirements: Has a keen interest in small power equipment

Transferable Knowledge: Strong presentation skills and product demos
