Profile: Our client is a well-established company specializing in the design, manufacturing, and installation of high-quality finishing material solutions for large multi-residential construction projects. Salary: Base between $65,000 and $80,000

Functions:

• Analyze project plans – Read architectural/design drawings, take measurements, calculate angles, areas, and volumes.
• Prepare cost estimates – Determine costs for materials, labor, subcontractors, installation, and delivery; prepare budget proposals.
• Create technical drawings – Use AutoCAD to produce production plans and technical drawings for manufacturing.
• Coordinate with stakeholders – Communicate with subcontractors, suppliers, manufacturers, and occasionally clients; negotiate pricing and track requests.
• Manage project costs – Monitor budgets, anticipate expenses, compare supplier bids, and ensure technical feasibility.
• Handle large/multi-unit projects – Prepare estimates and bids for large-scale residential projects (multi-unit buildings, kitchens & bathrooms).

Requirements:

• Work in hybrid settings – Split time between office, home, and project sites as required.
• Production drawing experience
• AutoCAD proficient
• Knowledge of estimating tools
• Microsoft Office expert

Education: College Diploma or Technical Program.

Years of experience: 5+ years of experience as an estimator, ideally within construction, cabinetry, or interior finish projects.
