Profile: Our client is a global manufacturer of capital equipment used in industrial applications and we are a looking for a hands-on General Manager located in the GTA to lead sales (60%) and operations (40%). You have a customer-focused approach, have leads sales team to grow, especially in a capital equipment/expenditure environment and have a solid understanding of financial management.

Salary: Base $150,000-$200,000
Commissions/Bonus: Between $50,000 and $100,000 annually
Car allowance: Vehicle + gas card provided (all car expenses paid)

Functions:
- Develop and execute a national sales strategy aligned with global objectives
- Grow revenue through key account management and new business development
- Build relationships across manufacturing, logistics, retail, and related sectors
- Lead, support, and coach the sales team and channel/integration partners
- Ensure sales targets and margin goals are met or exceeded
- Oversee daily business operations including project delivery, customer support, and supply coordination
- Full P&L responsibility for the Canadian business unit
- Create and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
- Analyze performance metrics to identify growth opportunities and improve profitability
- Ensure efficient resource allocation and cost control
- Liaise with global teams on inventory, logistics, and strategic planning
