Profile: Our client is a manufacturing agent in electrical energy and is looking for a technical inside sales rep to work with clients both internal and external. You are able to answer technical client requests, follow up on client requests, work with internal resources, upsell and negotiate,  where needed. The person we seek is curious, technically, not afraid to ask questions and is highly organized.

Territory: Province of Quebec and Atlantic provinces
Workplace: Home office 3 days + 2 days office south shore of Montreal
Products/Services: Electrical
Salary: Base $70,000-$95,000
Commissions/Bonus: 15% to 40% bonus on base paid annually

Functions:

• Manage the day to day requests for quotes from our clients
• Respond to technical queries
• Seek to understand customer technical and business needs
• Use our CRM to prepare and submit bids
• Monitor the bids and negotiate, if need be
• Follow up on orders/bids to ensure no deadlines are missed
• Follow up on orders
• Build long-term relationships with customers and manufacturers
• Monitor dashboard in CRM

  
Requirements:
Development vs Maintenance: 20% vs 80%
Road vs Office: 100% inside (mix of home office and office)
Languages: French and English (written and spoken)
Education: DEC in electrical or equivalent experience
Training: Full training and onboarding but require someone technical
Overnight Travel: No overnight travel required
Years of experience: 3-5 years relevant experience needed
Other requirements: Technically curious and must be able to read designs
