Profile: Our client sells chocolate and chocolate products to large national retailers and is looking for a bilingual Key Account Representative in Montreal to manage a group of key accounts. their sales programs and category management. Your role will be to negotiate agreements, introduce new products and create sales strategies for your accounts. You will work with the different buyers, sometimes within the same account, work with the systems and work with internal partners for a smooth running of your accounts. You will set the strategy for growth.
Territory: Canada
Workplace: Montreal (iin office 3 days /week + 2 home office)

Salary: Base $90,000 to $115,000

Functions:
- Negotiate agreements, multi-year contracts, and promotional programs.
- Manage and develop a portfolio of key accounts (80% account management / 20% business development).
(Examples of possible accounts: Loblaws, Shoppers, Metro Ontario and Food Basics, Pharmasave, Sobeys Ontario/West, Giant Tiger.) - Negotiate new product listings and prepare seasonal presentations.
- Collaborate with buyers and internal teams to optimize execution.
- Plan promotions (develop annual promotional plans for regular products) and negotiate promotional activity and support for seasonal products.
- Monitor market trends and competition.
Requirements:

Years of experience: At least 5 years of experience in retail sales, preferably in the food sector.
Other requirements: Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel / PowerPoint (Retail Link and other client portals are an asset).
Experience with national retail chains (Sobeys, Metro, Walmart, Loblaws, etc.).
Transferable skills: Strong proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint is essential.
