Profile: Our client manufactures Natural Health Products sold in pharmacies across Quebec. Known for their flagship brand and excellent employee retention, they are currently seeking to fill a 4-day-per-week Pharmaceutical Merchandising Representative covering Montreal and the western South Shore.
The ideal candidate has sales experience and is comfortable engaging with pharmacists and healthcare professionals. Fluency in French is essential. A valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle are required.

Territory: Montreal and the western South Shore.
Workplace: Road and Work from home
Products/Services: Natural Health Products 
Salary: Base $53 040.00
Commissions/Bonus: N/A
Car allowance: $0.64/KM
Expense’s reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursed

Functions:
  • Visit pharmacies within the Montreal Island and western South Shore territories to maintain a strong in-store presence
  • Meet with pharmacists to present products and encourage their recommendation to clients
  • Take inventory counts and prepare product orders for submission and approval by store managers
  • Process orders through the online portal
  • Manage product returns efficiently
  • Monitor and verify in-store retail pricing to ensure accuracy and consistency
  • Conduct competitive product comparisons and assist with price negotiations
  • Build relationships with pharmacists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals involved in the pharmacy by introducing and educating them on our product offerings
  • Submit weekly activity reports to support internal tracking and performance follow-up
Requirements:

Languages: French and English is an asset
Education: College diploma or equivalent experience.
Training: On the job training

Years of experience: At least 5 year of experience in sales, ideally within health or pharmaceutical industry.

Other requirements:
  • 5 years of sales experience, ideally within the pharmaceutical or health industry
  • Approximately 20–25 visits per week (4 to 5 clients per day, including about 4 major clients)
  • Comfortable speaking with healthcare professionals
  • Presents themselves professionally
  • Ideally resides on the Island of Montreal
