Profile: Our client is a custom manufacturer of displays, racking and custom furniture sold to retailers to help them represent their brand. Their products include signage, display fixtures and can be found both inside and outside their locations. They work with renowned brands and creative projects. We are looking for a bilingual sales rep who has contacts with retailers across Quebec, to sell our custom solution. You will sell to both the end-user and work with architects and designers to get our work specified.

Territory: Province of Quebec (mostly Montreal)
Workplace: Montreal home office
Products/Services: Displays, racks and custom furniture for retailers
Salary: Base $70,000-$80,000
Commissions/Bonus: Approximately $40,000 at 100% of plan, uncapped commissions

Functions:
  • Prospect, research, and develop new business opportunities within targeted industries.
  • Build strong relationships with decision-makers, including retail leaders, designers, and brand managers.
  • Conduct outreach campaigns (calls, emails, networking, events) to generate qualified leads.
  • Understand client needs and position solutions that align with their design and operational goals.
  • Collaborate with internal design, engineering, and production teams to support proposals and presentations.
  • Maintain pipeline and activity tracking 
  • Represent the company at trade shows, networking events, and client meetings.
  • Work with our design, project management, quotation and production departments

  
Requirements:
Development vs Maintenance: 100% vs 0%
Road vs Office:50% vs 50%
Languages: French and English (written and spoken)
Education: DEC or equivalent experience
Training: On the job training of our procedures
Overnight Travel: No overnight required
Years of experience:2–4 years of experience in sales, business development, or account management (B2B preferred) selling to the target client.

Transferable contacts: Contacts within the retail space is a MUST.
Transferable Knowledge:
  • Highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple opportunities at once
  • Comfortable with cold outreach and developing business from the ground up
