Profile: Our client is seeking a Sales Representative responsible for managing existing client accounts and identifying new business opportunities within the MRC de La Haute-Yamaska territory. This is a full-time, permanent position. Join a dynamic team offering a wide range of products that serve multiple industries and help drive growth and innovation.

Territory: Montérégie
Workplace: Field-based position – candidate must be local to the territory. 
Products/Services: Material Handling Equipment - Agricolture
Salary: On-Target Earnings between $90 000 and $100 000 first year. 
Second year the potential is much greater.
Commissions/Bonus: Uncapped commissions.
Car allowance: Company vehicle provided.
Expense’s reimbursement: All reasonable expenses will be reimbursed.

Functions:
  • Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of existing clients.
  • Identify and engage new business opportunities while building strong, long-term relationships.
  • Assess customer needs and recommend the most suitable equipment solutions.
  • Achieve and exceed sales targets for both new and pre-owned machinery.
  • Provide consistent, high-quality follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Work closely with internal teams to address customer issues and support overall service excellence.
  • Maintain a solid understanding of the company’s full range of equipment and related services.
Requirements:
Development vs Maintenance: 80% vs 20%
Road vs Office: 90% vs 10%
Languages: Fluent in French and English 
Education: High school diploma.
Training: On the job training provided
Overnight Travel: N/A
Years of experience: A minimum of three years of technical sales experience in the agricultural equipment industry.

Other requirements: 
  • Excels in conveying information clearly and negotiating effectively with clients.
  • Operates with a high level of autonomy and maintains strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Possesses a valid driver’s license and is comfortable with frequent travel as part of the role.
Transferable contacts:
  • Experience in client prospecting is an asset
  • Any formal sales education is viewed as a strong asset
Transferable Knowledge:
  • A strong interest in agriculture equipment and machinery
  • Great communications skills
