Profile: Our client is a recognized leader in the premium surface industry, specializing in the fabrication and installation of high-end material finishes. They partner with homeowners, contractors, and design professionals to deliver bespoke solutions for both residential and commercial projects. They are currently seeking a dynamic Showroom Sales Consultant to elevate the client experience, provide expert product guidance, and contribute to the growth and success of their business.

Salary: Base $50,000
Commissions/Bonus: 1% commission on personal sales (OTE $70 000) / Uncapped Commissions

Functions:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for showroom customers via in-person visits, phone, and email
  • Prepare quotations, pricing, and project estimates
  • Identify customer needs and provide product, design, and technical recommendations
  • Manage the full sales cycle, from initial inquiry through order confirmation and deposit collection
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships while generating new business opportunities
  • Conduct post-project follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate client records in Stone Profit ERP and track activities using calendar/task management tools
  • Quantify and estimate projects using Microsoft Excel, including square footage calculations
  • Review drawings, specifications, inventory, and product availability to support project execution
  • Coordinate project details with clients and internal teams to ensure seamless communication
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and professional showroom environment
  • Provide administrative support and assist with daily showroom operations as required
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, while expanding revenue by upselling and cross-selling within existing customer accounts.

Transferable contacts:
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook, including project quantification, estimating, documentation, and client communications

Transferable Knowledge:
  • Strong numerical aptitude and comfort working with measurements, calculations, and square footage estimates (training can be provided)
  • Experience using ERP systems; familiarity with Stone Profit or similar industry-specific software is considered an asset
