Profile: Our client is a manufacturer of industrial pumps looking to hire a bilingual Technical Sales Representative in the Montreal area. Your role will consist of;
Territory: Eastern Canada (based in Montreal area) - office presence 1 every 2 weeks
Workplace: Work from home (local to Montreal)
Products/Services: Industrial Pumps
Salary: Base $80,000-$100,000
Commissions/Bonus: 25% bonus
Car allowance: $1,000/month
Expense’s reimbursement: All reasonable expenses reimbursed

Development vs Maintenance: 50% vs 50%
Road vs Office: 50% vs 50%
Languages: French and English
Education: Technical diploma or bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or a related field.
Training: On the job training available but must have pump experience
Overnight Travel: Up to 25% overnight travel required
Years of experience: 3 – 5 years of experience in industrial sales, preferably in pumps, fluid handling systems or mechanical equipment
Other requirements: Ability to represent/sell to engineering firms
Transferable contacts: N/A
Transferable Knowledge: Centrifugal pump experience is a major asset

- Engages with OEMs, engineering firms, consultants, distributors, and end-user businesses to promote our client
- Supports long-term strategic growth by fostering relationships and unlocking new channels.

Functions:
- Create and execute a territory sales plan that supports overall business goals and revenue targets
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through outreach, referrals, and market insights
- Build lasting relationships with key customers and industry stakeholders
- Partner with engineering, operations, service, and logistics teams to ensure seamless customer experiences
- Promote and sell a range of industrial water pump solutions (centrifugal, submersible, and more), along with related services
- Conduct on-site visits and technical assessments to fully understand client needs and recommend the best-fit solutions
- Work with internal teams to prepare technical quotes and commercial proposals
- Attend industry events and trade shows as a company ambassador when needed
