Profile: Our client provides waste and recycling services to businesses and is looking for a Territory Sales Rep to bring in new business and build on it. The Territory Sales Rep will be selling multi-years contracts
Territory: Greater Toronto area + Oshawa to GTA
Workplace: Home office (occasional visit to office)
Products/Services: Waste and recycling services
Salary: Base $68,000-$75,000
Commissions/Bonus: Commissions $36,000-$40,000 annually
Car allowance: $1,100 per month
Expense’s reimbursement: Activities such as golf and lunch etc , covered by company

Functions:
- Drive growth by identifying, targeting, and closing new business opportunities for contracted waste and recycling services, typically spanning 3 to 5-year terms.
- Research and qualify leads to uncover contract renewal timelines and decision-making structures
- Develop a strong pipeline within an assigned geographic territory by proactively engaging with mid- to large-sized businesses.
- Sell a full suite of environmental services
- Lead negotiations for new customer agreements and key accounts
- Conduct in-person client visits, facility walk-throughs, and service reviews
- Manage key account relationships post-sale, focusing on retention and successful renegotiation of contract renewals.
Requirements:
Development vs Maintenance: 90% vs 10%
Road vs Office: 80% vs 20%
Languages: Excellent written and spoken English
Education: High school diploma required; a degree in business or marketing is a plus
Training: Full training provided
Overnight Travel: Very little overnight required
Years of experience: 5 to 10 years of relevant B2B sales experience needed

Transferable Knowledge: Strong negotiation skills
