Our client is an international manufacturer of PC and gaming console hardware geared towards end users.

Our customer, a manufacturer of PC and gaming console hardware is looking for a Trade Channel Marketing specialist to fill a contractual position (10 month).  You have retail or marketing experience, business acumen, looking to develop and implement sales strategies and promotions and have good work ethic, this might be a way to learn and grow your career. 

Territory: Canada & USA
Workplace: Hybrid; Montreal Office 3 days a week and 2 days from home
(150 steps from Metro station)
Products/Services: PC and gaming console hardware
Salary: $50,000 - $60,000
Commissions/Bonus: $4,000 / year paid monthly + $2,000 retention bonus
Car allowance: N/A
Expense’s reimbursement: N/A

Functions:

You are the brand ambassador.
Your job consists of monitoring our product lines listed with different online retailers and major retailers.
You will also track competition and compare sales data.
You will build promotions and marketing campaigns adapted to our partners.
You will implement pre-order campaigns for product launches
You will negotiate promotions with our partners
Work closely with your team and management to keep them up to date on market trends and new developments in the e-tailer environment.
Monitor the accuracy of our product offering on the market.

Job Requirements:

Development vs Maintenance: 100% maintenance
Road vs Office: 1% road / 99% office (1 or 2 trade shows per year)
Languages: English 100% / French functional
Education: Sales or marketing or ecommerce background is an asset
Training: In house training provided
Overnight Travel: 3-4 days per quarter
Years of experience: 1+ years of relevant experience

Other requirement: Very at ease with Microsoft suite
